04

How we measure visits

We continue to use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel metrics to understand website usage. We are adding PostHog as a second analytics provider to compare results and chart content engagement, visit sources and interactions.

Measurement without persistent identifiers

Our PostHog integration does not use cookies, persistent browser storage, fingerprinting or personal profiles. It generates random identifiers in memory to link measurements within an open page and each content view or playback. These are renewed when the page is reloaded or opened in a new tab; they cannot recognise a person across visits. Events already sent may retain these identifiers for their data retention period.

Events include the action, time, language, content or website area and a source category. For a recognised Google Ads campaign, we include its campaign, ad group and network. We measure view counts and recorded seconds of visibility or playback to calculate totals and averages per view; these times are approximate and do not prove attention or represent unique people.

We send these data to PostHog through our server. We do not forward names, email addresses, messages or other form values, the visitor’s IP address, their browser information or full web addresses with query parameters. We do not enable automatic interaction capture, session recordings or geolocation. We count successfully delivered enquiries separately, without linking them to a browsing identifier; an enquiry is not a booking.

We do not use any of the following tools:

  • Google Analytics
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Meta Pixel
  • Hotjar
  • Advertising trackers

05

Use of cookies

The public website does not use analytics cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Technical administration or editorial-preview tools may use first-party cookies solely for authorised staff and never for visitors to the public website.

06

Who we work with

We rely on technology providers that may process data on our behalf to deliver the service:

The selected PostHog region is the European Union. This does not mean all provider operations are confined to that region: its documentation allows support access and subprocessors in other countries, under the safeguards it describes. See its privacy information at posthog.com/privacy and data processing terms at posthog.com/dpa.

Vercel
Hosting, infrastructure and Web Analytics.
PostHog
Event and duration analytics, hosted on EU Cloud in Frankfurt, Germany.
Sanity

Google Maps
The public source of a review only when its provenance has been verified.
Resend

07

You may exercise the following rights over your data where applicable:

To exercise any of them, or to ask us to stop displaying a testimonial or review on this website, contact us through the form or contact email address.

08

Changes to this policy

This policy may change if the website, its providers or its data-processing practices change. We recommend reviewing it periodically to stay informed about how we handle your information.

We retain data for as long as needed to respond to enquiries, maintain the relationship you requested, manage visible or withdrawn editorial content and meet any applicable legal obligations.

PostHog’s current free plan guarantees retention of events and metadata for one year; after that period, the provider may delete them under its terms. This does not guarantee automatic deletion at the one-year mark. Closing the page removes identifiers from browser memory but does not delete events already sent.
